"Dear Charmaine, |
"I'm very pleased that you received a warm welcome from the residents of Eastleigh and hopefully had a successful event, I have attached a copy of an email I sent to our asset team this morning regarding the ground conditions and would like to again thank you for the care taken entering and exiting the site. The Fair really made and we had lots of positive comments so a big well done to your guys. Thanks Eastleigh Borough Council" |

"Hi, I'm a Support Worker and today I supported my 2 young adults with learning disabilities to spend some time at the fair. I was overwhelmed at the kindness shown to them. Everyone was so helpful to them. They really enjoyed their time and their confidence grew in that short time. So I want you to know that they say thank you to you all. I appreciate everyone was busy but they went the extra mile to make it a special time. Lovely memories made that will they will talk about for a long time. Thank you." |
"Official opening of Stevens Fun Fair at Corby: Hi Charmaine, Christine and I often mention our two visits when asked by friends for the highlight of my year. We especially loved your arrangements for disadvantaged Children and our bumper car ride! We hope to say hello next year. Cllr Larry Henson, North Northamptonshire Council" |
"Hi I was just wondering when are you coming to Corby I am a big fan and love your fairs I go every year and always enjoy myself, Rachel" |
"Hi, I just wanted to say my family is so glad you are back in Uckfield this year, it wasn't the same without you last September! You bring joy to so many kids (and grown up kids like me) and I'm not sure if anyone thanks you for it very often - so in case they don't, thank you, thank you, we really can't wait! All the best to you and yours, Lydia." |
"We made it to your fair this afternoon and your guys didn’t disappoint us!! We all had a great time a huge and very special thank you for your very generous free ride passes…. They extended our visit and my little guy was thrilled to be allowed to ride the Yeti another time!! Thank you so much we will definitely be visiting again the next time you are local to us! Take care and stay until then, Rebecca" |
"I had to come here again to comment because I'm ever so grateful for the kindness, effort and care my daughter amiyah was given again today on our visit to the fair. She has disabilities which cause alot of problems for her, but everyone we came into contact with at the fair went above and beyond to make us both feel safe. A massive thank you to the 2 girls on the harness trampolines, I cannot thank you enough for taking care of her today and making sure she was happy and comfortable and just having the best time while doing it.. I understand people have been put off by prices this year, but I'd pay double what I did to see the smiles on my daughters face. She isn't allowed to theme parks so to be able to have this right on our doorstep meant the world to us. Your staff are incredible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Charlotte (Eastleigh)" |
June 23, 2021: "Good morning. I brought my son to your fair last Saturday and he adored it… he didn’t want to leave! He has been promised that if he was a very good boy all week snd tried really hard at school that we would come back on Friday afternoon. Obviously the weather today is very different than last weekend!! I don’t want to bring him and then for him to be devastated if you’re not able to operate under these weather conditions, so I thought I would ask you first…. Are you still going to be opening up at 5pm today please?? My son has ADHD and autism which make it very difficult for him to understand some situations and to deal with them when circumstances change and things aren’t as he was expecting them to be. I want to minimise any stress/anxiety for him so thought It was best to ask you before coming!! Please come back to me when you can. Many thanks and have a great day, Rebecca" Our response: Thanks for your kind message & glad your son enjoyed his time at the fair. Weather looking brighter tomorrow so hopefully you’ll be able to make it then. Any problems please get back to me. Thx again Sharon |

"Hi Charmaine, |
"Hi Charmaine - I visited Stevens fair in Corby this afternoon with my nephew as we do every year. The difference this year was that he wanted to go on the bigger rides, I was dreading this as I am a wimp! However, we decided on the waltzers first and I had my head tucked down the entire time!I was amazed that not one, but two of the lads working the ride asked if I was ok and did we want spun round or not. I wanted to let you know that it made my day that they were so considerate and compassionate. It also made my nephew's day that I was so scared! Hopefully you can pass this on to the ride's owner - they have great staff! Thanks again Anne" |
